What methods of extension installations are offered?
The stylists at Blend and Bloom Salon are Voguepearl, Philocaly Sewn-In, and Livable Nano certified, to offer a range of extension options. Over the years, we have taken our education and customized them to tailor to our clients' needs. A consultation will determine which method is most suitable for your hair and desired outcome.


What are the differences?
'Voguepearl' is a wefted method using a blend of your own hair, silicone-lined micro-beads, and a weft of extensions. Philocaly is a sewn-in method that also utilizes silicone-lined micro-beads, but incorporates thread as well. Livable Nano are individual 1g strands that we use to add density around the front hairline.


What is the maintenance?
As a client, you are required to have touch-ups every 4 weeks, which takes approximately 30 minutes. This ensures no damage is being done to your natural hair, as well as gives us the opportunity to ensure you are doing everything correct at home. At these appointments, we move up the weft, replace any tired beads, and remove all your natural fall-out within that 4 week span.


Can I colour my hair with extensions in?
Colouring your natural hair is absolutely possible! The girls at Blend and Bloom specialize in colours and are able to work around the extensions properly to ensure a seamless blend.


Can I wear my hair up while having extensions?
Yes they can be worn up, but there are exceptions and things to be mindful of. Your stylist will give you full instructions on when and how to wear your up.
